Hey, friends!
Come join me on Wednesday, July 22, from 2:00–4:00 PM! My friends at the library told me about a ROAR-some event happening for kids at the Freeman Community Center, and I just couldn't miss it!
I'm planning to be there so I can see all my new friends again. I hope you'll come too! It's going to be a dino-mite afternoon full of fun.
And don't forget to bring your Scavenger Hunt card to show the library staff that you found me at the various businesses around town. I can't wait to see you there!

Freeman Public Library is thrilled to present "Unearth a Story" as part of our Summer Reading Program!
The 2026 Summer Reading Program is open to individuals from the following age groups:
From June 8th to July 22rd, participants in the Children's (Preschool-Youth) program can track their reading minutes to earn amazing prizes! Weekly events which will include hands-on projects, engaging activities, and so much more! Registration is now open.
Adults will receive a Read Across America Map to record the books that are read between
June 1 - August 31 to qualify for chances to win prizes!
The 2026 Summer Reading Program is open to individuals from the following age groups:
- Preschool (ages 3-5)
- Elementary (grades K-6)
- Youth (grades 7-12)
- Adults (ages 18+)
