2025 Summer Reading Program

Wednesday, July 23

Finish off the Preschool-Youth Summer Reading Program,
"Color Our World", with a bang by dropping by the
Library Meeting Room between 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. to whip up
some one-of-a-kind art masterpieces!


​The Freeman Public Library is holding our annual Children's and Youth
Summer Reading Program from June 9 – July 23. 
 
We are offering programs for three different groups ages 3-18:
Preschool (ages 3-5)
Elementary (Kindergarten-6th grade)

Youth (7th-12th grade)


This year’s theme is “Color Our World”.

In addition to the in-person events, there will also be a reading challenge
with the chance to earn prizes.

By logging minutes read between June 9th - July 23rd, Preschool and Elementary
participants will earn tickets to redeem
 for cool prizes at the
​ Library's Reading Rewards Shoppe July 24 - 25. 
Tickets will also be earned by registering for the Summer Reading Program
and 
by attending the Library events for your age group. 

Youth will earn tickets to be entered into raffle drawings for awesome
items such as a backpack filled with school supplies and an art kit.
