2026 Summer Reading Program

The Freeman Public Library is holding our annual Children's and Youth
Summer Reading Program from June 8 – July 22.

We are offering programs for three different groups ages 3-18:
Preschool (ages 3-5)
Elementary (Kindergarten-6th grade)

Youth (7th-12th grade)

This year’s theme is “Unearth a Story”.

In addition to the in-person events, there will also be a reading challenge
with the chance to earn prizes.

By logging minutes read between June 8th - July 22nd, Preschool and Elementary
participants will earn tickets to redeem
 for cool prizes at the
 Library's Reading Rewards Shoppe July 23 - 24.
Tickets will also be earned by registering for the Summer Reading Program
and
by attending the Library events for your age group.

Youth will earn tickets to be entered into raffle drawings for awesome
items such as a backpack filled with school supplies and a set of fluffy dino nugget pillows.
