2020 Summer Reading Program
Summer Reading Program – Reimagined!
The Freeman Public Library will be holding our annual Summer Reading Program for Preschool and School Age children from June 29 – July 31. Registration is now open. Forms are available on the Library’s website (online or print out) and in the library's entryway. Paper registration forms may be placed in the library book return, mailed, or take a picture of the completed form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This year’s theme is “Imagine Your Story” with a focus on Fairy Tales, Mythology,
Folklore, and Fantasy.
While we are not able to host group activities as we have in the past, the Summer Reading Program will still take place – reimagined! Each week, we will be offering Grab and Go Kits to each child that is registered. Each kit will contain crafts, activities, and other fun stuff relating to the weekly theme. There will be some optional online activities also.
As in other years, there will also be a reading challenge with incentives (Brag Tags are back this year!) and prizes for each reading level attained. Please note that all incentives and prizes will be held at the Library until the week of August 3 when pick up will be scheduled.
