2022 Summer Reading Program
The Freeman Public Library will be holding our annual Summer Reading Program
from June 20 – July 27.
We are offering programs for three different groups ages 3-18:
Preschool (ages 3-5)
Elementary (Kindergarten-6th grade)
Youth (7th-12th grade)
This year’s theme is “Oceans of Possibilities”. Join us this summer for under-the-sea
themed crafts and activities, story times, and so much more!
All ages are invited to the kick-off event, "Splash into Reading Magic Show"
presented by Magic Zac! The show will take place on Thursday, June 23, at 2:00 pm
in the Freeman Community Center Meeting Room.
The Summer Reading Program will offer weekly in-person events for each age group.
Preschool events will be on Thursdays at 10:30 am in the
Library's meeting room on the following days:
June 30, July 7, 14, and 21.
Elementary events will also be on Thursdays at 2:00 pm in the
Freeman Community Center Meeting Room on the following days:
June 30, July 7, 14, and 21.
Youth events are scheduled for Mondays at 3:00 pm
in the Library's Meeting Room on the following days:
June 27, July 11, 18, and 25
Additionally, there will also be a reading challenge with the chance to earn prizes.
By logging minutes read between June 20th-July 27th, Preschool and Elementary
participants will earn tickets to redeem for cool prizes at the
Library's Reading Rewards Shoppe July 28-29.
Tickets will also be earned by registering for the Summer Reading Program
and by attending the Library events for your age group.
Youth will earn tickets to be entered into raffle drawings for awesome items such as a
Tortilla Blanket, a Bluetooth Lighted Waterproof Speaker, and a set of Wireless Earbuds!
